Please allow 24–48 hours' notice for regular orders. Larger gifting or catering orders may need more time, so message us as early as you can.

Can I order for the same day?

Regular same-day orders are not available; please allow 24–48 hours' notice. If we have a small number of extras, you will see them first on our WhatsApp channel or Instagram stories.

Where will I collect my order?

Joyful Bakehouse is a home bakery in Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. We will confirm the collection details and time with you after your order is secured.

Can you deliver to me?

We offer local delivery to Rathnew, Wicklow Town, Hawkstown, Ashford, Dunbur and Blainroe, subject to the date and route. Tell us your area when you order and we will confirm delivery or arrange collection with you.

Can somebody collect for me?

Yes. Send us the collector's name before pickup and ask them to mention the name used for your order.

When do I pay?

Your order is secured once advance payment is received. We will confirm availability first, then share the payment details and due date with you on WhatsApp.

Yes. Your order is made in a small batch and prepared close to your collection or delivery date rather than sitting on a shelf.

What should I tell you about allergies?

Tell us about any allergy before you order. Individual allergen information is shown on each menu item, but all products are prepared in a home kitchen where gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, sesame, soya, and other common allergens are handled.

How should I store my bakes?

Storage depends on the item:

Breads and focaccia are best fresh on pickup day or the next day; store airtight at room temperature.

Brownies keep airtight at room temperature for 2–3 days, or refrigerated for longer freshness.

Milk cakes and cream-based items should be refrigerated and eaten within 2–3 days.

Can I freeze my order?

Some items, such as brownies and breads, can usually be frozen airtight. Cream-based items are best fresh and are not recommended for freezing unless advised.

Small customisations may be possible depending on the item and availability. Joyful Bakehouse mainly offers limited weekly menus and seasonal drops.

Can you help with my event or office?

Yes, for small events, family gatherings, tea parties, birthdays, office treats, and community get-togethers of around 30–40 guests.

Options may include dessert boxes, brownie bites, mini treats, breads, focaccia, and selected menu items, depending on availability.

What if I need to change or cancel?

Message us as early as possible. Because your order is made especially for you, payments may become non-refundable once ingredients have been purchased or preparation has started. The ordering terms explain this clearly.
